Biography
Allen was brought into this world on April 28, 1991, by his parents Angela LaNae Allen and Otis LaNae Allen in Bronx, New York. Omarri, Omarri’s younger brother, is the youngest child in her family and she is the first-born.
She has completed her studies at the prestigious Professional Performing Arts High School in Manhattan. Allen finished her studies at the institution in 2009, with a focus on Musical Theatre.
After matriculating from high school, she enrolled in Pace University, a private university based in New York; she graduated from the institution with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2013.
In 2016, the actress was able to obtain her Master of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, with Speech-Language Pathology as her major. At a later time, she joined Teachers College at Columbia University.

She followed up with the television series ‘Out Of The Box’, which was shown on the channel ‘Playhouse Disney’.
Aleisha Allen’s big break came from playing Alicia in the 2003 hit film ‘School of Rock’ when she was 10 years old. She played a talented young musician and a classmate of the lead character in the movie she starred alongside Jack Black.
