Born on October 17, 1958, in Newnan City, Georgia, United States, Alan was the son of parents Ruth Musick and ‘Daddy Gene’ Jackson. The youngest of five children born to his parents, he was the youngest. The Jackson family had a modest home to live in. Ruth Musick and Eugene Jackson’s lastborn child, he grew up with four older sisters: Diane, Cathay, Carol, and Connie. Both of his parents, his father and mother, passed away in 2000 and 2017, respectively.
