Manuel Luis Jacinto has roots from the Philippines and is a Canadian actor. After beginning his career in minor roles on television, he became popular after landing the lead role of Jason Mendoza in the NBC sitcom The Good Place (2016-2020). He has also acted as Waring ‘Wade’ Espiritu in the neo-noir thriller film Bad Times at the El Royale (2018) and as Fritz in the action drama film Top Gun: Maverick (2022). He also provided the voice of Scott Denoga in the Disney Channel animated series Hailey’s On It! (2023–2024).

The Romeo Section, a Canadian spy drama directed by Chris Haddock in 2015, saw him portray the triad leader Wing Lei. The Dramatic series received a Leo Award Nomination for Best Supporting Performance from him. Manuel Jacinto appeared in The Good Place on NBC in 2016, where he portrayed Jianyu Li/Jason Mendoza.
