Biography

On October 18, 1993, the family of Mr. and Mrs. Ojogwu welcomed Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu into their lives. As a Nigerian rapper, songwriter, and brand influencer, he is known for his talent. His origins are in Enugu State, Nigeria, where he belongs to the Igbo tribe. The rapper’s mother is the sole parent, and he has 6 siblings – 2 brothers and 4 sisters.

His early education took place in Lagos State, where he attended nursery and primary school, before his family moved to Abuja. He pursued his studies in Mass Communications at University of Lagos (UNILAG) following his secondary education at Kings College, Gwagwalada, Abuja.

Career

Odumodublvck’s fondness for music can be traced back to his early years in school, when he was known as T-Flows. Following his brother Agunna to the studio in 2016, he began his music career in full. Ever since his first track was released a year ago, he has been dropping nice jams back to back.

In 2022, he produced a joint studio album called ‘The Drop’ with B.O.C Madaki. In a few months, he joined forces with Zlatan and Ecko Miles to release the song titled ‘Picanto’. After releasing the song ‘Declan Rice’ in 2023, he was widely recognized internationally. The inspiration for the song came from the captain and midfielder of West Ham United.

Declan Rice, the newly signed player by Arsenal, was revealed with his hit song ‘Declan Rice’. A short clip of the ceremony with popular music was shared on the English football club’s Twitter handle. The music reached the top of the Apple Music Top 100 after the unveiling. Odumodu mentioned in an interview in March 2023 that he and the footballer have established a friendship.

OdumoduBlvck is doing well for himself, winning numerous awards. In 2022, he was recognized as the Next Rated winner at the Galaxy Music Awards. The award is accompanied by a Lexus ES 330 sedan as part of its package.

Two awards were won by him during the recently concluded 2023 Headies Awards in Atlanta, Georgia. He was recognized for his outstanding performance in the Rookie of the Year Award and the Best RAP Single Award.
