Career

As a trainee on a reality show, Rowoon entered the showbiz industry in 2013. In Cheongdam-dong 111, a reality show produced by FNC Entertainment, Rowon was first introduced as a trainee. As a member of the Neoz group, he participated in the pre-debut team ‘Neoz School’ under FNC Entertainment in 2015.

He competed with Neoz Band (later known as Honeyst) in FNC’s survival show ‘D.O.B’ as a member of the ‘Neoz Dance’ team in FNC’s survival show ‘D.O.B’ in 2016. The competition was won by Neoz Dance and they were given the chance to make their debut.

In 2016, he became a member of the K-pop group SF9. In a very short time frame, he became extremely popular.

A small role in the drama School 17 was offered to him in 2017. His supporting role caught the attention of a lot of people. Rowoon has been given the go-ahead to star in The Matchmakers, a historical drama that will air in 2024. His versatility and continued growth of his acting career have led to him being cast in another upcoming historical drama, Takryu.
