Personal Life
Hugh Jackman’s first major acting job was in the Australian drama series Correlli in 1995. He met his future wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, in this location. Later, he stated that meeting his wife was the most significant thing that happened. April 1996 saw Hugh marry Deborra-Lee at St John’s in Toorak, Victoria, which is located in Melbourne.
Oscar and Ava, the couple’s adopted children, were not considered adoption, the actor told The Herald Sun in 2011. We are of the opinion that events unfolded as intended. It’s clear that having children in this way wasn’t meant biologically.
Hugh and Deborra-Lee announced on September 15, 2023 that they would be divorcing after 27 years of marriage, which was unfortunate.
Career
Jackman’s first movie role was in Erskineville Kings (1999), after appearing in TV shows in Australia like Correlli (1995) and The Man from Snowy River (1996). He has appeared in many noteworthy movies, including ‘The Prestige’ in 2006, ‘Les Misérables’ in 2012, and ‘The Greatest Showman’ in 2017.
