Woody McClain, also known as ‘Woody the Great’, is an American actor, comedian and dancer who is best known for portraying American R&B and pop singer, songwriter, actor and dancer, Bobby Brown, in BET’s 2017 miniseries ‘The New Edition Story’, for which he won the ‘Black Reel Award for Television’ as the ‘Outstanding Actor, TV Movie/Limited Series’.

In 2018, he agreed to return to his role in the upcoming two-part miniseries, ‘The Bobby Brown Story’. His other acting credits include the TV series ‘Training Day’, ‘Tales’, ‘Unsolved: The Murders of Tupac and the Notorious B.I.G.’, and ‘Giants’, as well as the video shorts ‘You’re Sexist’ and ‘A Little Closure’. Chris Brown and Fifth Harmony have been his dancers when he performed.

Born May 14, 1989 in Charleston, South Carolina, Woody McClain and his sister were raised in Jacksonville, Florida. LeBron James is a basketball player I am a huge fan of and I support his team at any given time.
